Pasternack, a supplier of RF, microwave and millimeter wave products, has launched a portfolio of general purpose multi-market coaxial packaged electromechanical switches. These switches are suited for applications such as military communications, radar, commercial and military aviation, medical equipment and others.

The portfolio has 134 connectorized designs that can run for 1 million each lifecycles, the company states. They are offered with connector options such as SMA, N Type, TNC, 2.92mm and configurations like SPDT, DPDT, SP4T, SP6T, SP10T and Transfer. Available power ranges include 10 to 275 watts. The switches also have an isolation of up to 80 dB.

“Pasternack offers designers a comprehensive selection of general purpose electromechanical switch designs for multi-market applications in popular configurations all guaranteed to 1M life cycles,” says Tim Galla, product manager, Active Components at Pasternack. “These switches are the perfect complement to our existing lines of high reliability relay switches which have guaranteed performance up to 10M life cycles.”
