PDTec AG, a provider of simulation data management (SDM) software and solutions, has released version 3.0 of its SimData Manager platform. This application allows users structured administration of calculation-relevant data through the entire CAE process chain.

One of the key enhancements in this release is a newly designed user friendly interface. Based on ribbon technology, this interface has new functionalities for working with tables, in-line edit functions and more.

For additional features, SimData Manager 3.0 has a central library for CAE models, an SDM process commander, event tracking mechanisms, PLMXML import/export and extended workflow functionality. Users can also access new tools for results comparison such as fringe plots, curves and data.

“The consistent and direct availability of analysis-relevant data is one of the essential requirements of CAE data management systems today,” said Günter Staub, co-founder and head of the SDM product line at PDTec. “We are glad to provide our customers with SimData Manager version 3.0 with extensive new features and a new, intuitive user interface. SimData Manager 3.0 reduces costs and lead times for virtual product validation while increasing data availability and transparency during the entire simulation process, from the initial CAD model up to the final analysis report."
