Powergate Releases Tracopower THN-20

The Tracopower THN-20(WI) series is Powergate’s latest generation of DC/DC converter modules.

The product achieves 20W and come in a metal case with dimensions of 1x1x0.4 in. and efficiencies to 90%, according to the company. The series has power density of 51A/in3, ultra-wide DC input ranges and remote on/off control for no-load operation.

Typical applications are in the field of mobile equipment, instrumentation, distributed power architectures in communication and industrial electronics and wherever space on the printed circuit board is critical.

THN-20 converters offer 2:1 input ranges of 9-18 / 18-36 / 36-75 VDC.  THN-20WI models offer a wider 4:1 input range of 9-36 / 18-75 VDC.  All models feature: EN 55022 Class A filtration without external components; voltage trim; remote On/Off;  1500 VDC Isolation; –40°C to 75°C ambient operating temperature; and an optional heat sink for extended operation up to 85°C.
