Virtual Shape Research has released version 2.0 of its VSR iView app for the iPhone and iPad, which allows users to present 3D data models created with the Rhino+ VSR product suite on mobile devices.

Virtual models can be viewed and moved, evaluated and analyzed, or used as a virtual element in an augmented-reality scene. Users receive the model via an e-mail or Web download on their iPhone or iPad, by direct export out of Rhino (which requires the free VSR WebGL toolbar), or by synchronizing their files with iTunes. Users can also display the analysis previously computed for the model with the Rhino + VSR product suite.

In addition, the product offers six different display modes, from realistic visualization to artistic effects.
