November 10, 2014

Pro-Dex Inc. has launched an engineering services division and named Marvin Gidney as its vice president and general manager.

This new division will provide consulting services for design, engineering and manufacturing requirements. The company specializes in medical, surgical and dental applications. However, engineering services will be available for a wide variety of industries.

"This expansion of Pro-Dex's service offering to provide customers with consulting services and on-site engineering support is a natural extension of the core competencies in contract design and manufacturing that have been our hallmark for more than four decades, and we see Marvin Gidney as the ideal individual to lead the Engineering Services Division," said Harold A. Hurwitz, president and CEO, Pro-Dex Inc. "Marvin brings nearly 20 years of experience in the engineering sales, consulting and recruiting industry.  He has been a key provider of such services to Pro-Dex for many years and we are excited to now have him as part of our team."
