Project Insight from Metafuse, Inc. (Irvine, CA) has integrated project budget information from its hosted service to the back end accounting system for R.W. Smith & Company, a customer using Web Services APIs.

Project Insight helps project teams like American Honda, Merrill Lynch, and Register.com collaborate on project schedules, share documents and assets, allocate project resources, and run real-time reports from any location in the world.

R.W. Smith & Company used Project Insight's Web Services APIs to perform an integration to their back-end accounting software in five days. The Web Services APIs act as a middle-layer for programmers to code to, making it straightforward and simple to perform an integration.

Project Insight 7.1 is in a hosted Workgroup Edition and an Enterprise version. Installed versions require Microsoft Windows 2003 Server running IIS 6.0+ and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. All versions require a browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+, Safari 2.0+, or Firefox 2.0+. Outlook Connector and Office Connector add-ons are available.

For details, contact Metafuse Inc., a Microsoft Certified Partner and Developer, at Project Insight.
