Prototyping Solutions, a company providing 3D printing technologies and services, and Meltio, a wire-laser metal deposition technology 3D printing manufacturer, announce their newly formed partnership. This strategic alliance positions Prototyping Solutions as an authorized partner of Meltio, enabling the company to offer 3D metal printing solutions to its clientele.

Through this partnership, Prototyping Solutions will integrate Meltio's advanced laser metal deposition technology into its portfolio. This technology enables the creation of near-net shape metal components directly from CAD data, reducing production times and costs while enhancing design flexibility and material efficiency, the companies report.

“Partnering with Meltio marks a significant milestone in our mission to deliver the most advanced 3D printing solutions to our customers,” says Eddie Hanebuth, business development manager of Prototyping Solutions. “Meltio's innovative technology complements our existing offerings and empowers our clients to push the boundaries of what's possible in additive manufacturing.”

Meltio's technology is known for its capability of processing a range of metals, from stainless steel to titanium. This versatility, combined with Prototyping Solutions' expertise in 3D printing services, aims to deliver value to industries such as aerospace, automotive, education, and more, the companies note.

Prototyping Solutions will provide comprehensive support and services around Meltio's technology, including sales, technical support, and post-sales services.
