Quickparts has launched the [email protected] e-mail address, which allows users to skip the process of logging on to the website for a quote.

After emailing .STL files to the [email protected] e-mail address, the files are automatically uploaded to the customer’s account and prepared for quoting.  A response e-mail is then sent back to the customer containing a link to start the quoting process.

“While many of our customers enjoy the traditional method of logging on to the Quickparts website and uploading CAD files to create instant online quotes, there are also those who prefer to e-mail us their quote requests,” said Patrick Hunter, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Quickparts. “For those who prefer this method, we now offer an e-mail address that responds immediately, providing our customers with another option to quickly and easily obtain the quotes they need.”

E-mails sent to [email protected] will need to contain .STL files and have been sent from an e-mail address associated with an online account.
