Rapid Product Development Group, Inc. Offers DSM Somos NeXt Resin

Rapid Product Development Group, Inc. (RPDG) has announced the addition of a new stereolithography resin from DSM Somos called NeXt.

Somos NeXt produces parts that demonstrate an unprecedented combination of stiffness and toughness, according to RPDG. It also displays high feature detail and dimensional accuracy.

“This is a material you need to hold in your hand to fully appreciate,” says DSM Somos Marketing Manager Vince Adams.  “The stiffness/toughness combination produces a look and feel that is so like a thermoplastic, people are really surprised that it’s actually stereolithography.”

"As a result of a very positive response to the strength and durability of Somos NeXt, RPDG now has the largest production capacity in North America for Somos NeXt prototypes," says DSM Somos Sales Manager Craig Robertson.
