RTT USA, Inc. (RTT, Pasadena, CA) announced RTT DeltaGen 7.5 and RTT Portal 3.5, the latest version of DeltaGen 3D design and visualization software package.

RTT DeltaGen 7.5 shows what a vehicle will look like, down to whether a consumer will be able to see a wiring harness through a gap between body panels, whether glare will impede a driver's ability to see the instrumentation, and even how large the metal flakes in a metallic paint will be. New features improve the efficiency, speed and performance of the design and development processes.

Highlights in the RTT RealLight module for real-time rendering of photorealistic shadow effects include Ambient occlusion can now be rendered to quickly apply realistic shadows to a scene. RTT RealTrace has already enabled the quick generation of optical effects for surfaces, but now ray-tracing effects can reflect changes to the model and animations in real time even faster. RTT Conferencing lets you have interactive design discussions and meetings with colleagues anywhere. The new version also allows users to rejoin existing sessions.

Version 3.5 of the RTT Portal Asset Management System can be seamlessly incorporated into existing IT infrastructures to suit individual workflows, easing collaboration on projects in environments with several production sites.

For further details on RTT DeltaGen 7.5, available in English and German, go to RTT USA.
