RuleStream Corporation (Wakefield, MA), provider of standards-based engineering (SBE) solutions to capture, manage, and reuse engineering knowledge, announced that TLT-Babcock, a manufacturer of custom axial and centrifugal fans and associated gas and ash handling equipment, has purchased RuleStream to extend its engineering process automation platform. TLT-Babcock delivers custom engineered solutions to meet customer requirements for utility fan and ash-handling applications. Their SBE application will focus on automating both sales and engineering deliverables, including drawings, calculations, MBOMs and product costing, for their fan product lines.
