As a result of growth in demand for 3D printed metal components within the aerospace & defense industry, Sigma Labs and Morf3D have inked a strategic alliance to "better serve a number of OEMs with their next-generation applications," according to Sigma Labs President and CEO Mark Cola. The companies both provide 3D printing products and services.

“This partnership with Sigma Labs is a critical step towards accelerating our vision of operating as a strategic supplier-partner while meeting the high quality demands of our aerospace customers," Ivan Madera, CEO of Morf3D, adds.

A goal is for Sigma Labs’ proprietary PrintRite3D software to enable Morf3D to deliver better performance for end use aerospace components, according to Morf3D's Madera.
