SimScale Announces Workshop Series

By DE Editors

August 12, 2016

Hanover Medical School and SimScale are offering a free online workshop series for engineering simulation in biomedical engineering.

During the SimScale Biomedical Engineering Workshop, participants will receive a hands-on introduction to the application of engineering simulation in biomechanics and medical sciences, and will learn from top experts how to leverage the cloud-based SimScale simulation platform to virtually test, analyze, and optimize the designs of biomedical devices, a press release states.

The series will provide three, one-hour sessions with an optional homework assignment. No prior software knowledge is needed. Live workshops will take place on August 25, September 1 and September 8 at 11 a.m. EST (5 p.m. CEST). Covered topics are a hip joint prosthesis, stent design and application and in-vivo blood flow.
