SoftInWay will support the AIAA/IGTI Engine Design Competition by providing student teams with the educational version of its turbomachinery design software, AxSTREAM EDU.

The Atlanta-based ASME International Gas Turbine Institute (ASME-IGTI) and American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) are joint sponsors of the competition.

AIAA/IGTI Engine Design Competition for Undergraduate Teams will showcase the students' concepts for engines that can power the unmanned Joint Strike Fighter, including analysis of efficiency and other performance criteria. Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded to student teams that finish in first, second and third place in the competition.

"SoftInWay is highly interested in supporting all participating teams and providing them with our best software for students, AxSTREAM EDU. We hope that thanks to our modest contribution they will perform even better in this challenge, and be inspired study hard and design new and innovative Turbomachinery like never before," said Leonid Moroz, president and CEO of SoftInWay.
