SolidProfessor, Swift Calcs Partner to Release Online Course

SolidProfessor and Swift Calcs have unveiled the new Swift Calcs Essentials course, the first online course released by Swift Calcs. According to the company, this course takes a deep dive into performing calculations to learn a wide range of functionality in the Swift Calcs platform, including defining user variables, defining and using functions, calculating with units, solving equations, creating plots and accessing material in thermodynamic databases.

SolidProfessor’s Swift Calcs Essentials course is approximately 2.5 hours of instruction spread across 29 lessons. One lesson focuses on Swift Calcs for Onshape, which allows engineers to use Swift Calcs worksheets directly in Onshape documents. The Swift Calcs for Onshape app enables designers to use Swift Calcs calculations to directly drive CAD geometry through variables. The geometry is automatically updated in real-time. With built-in Onshape integration, calculations connect directly to 3D models.

Members can also use the Swift Calcs system to perform engineering design and analysis calculations quickly and easily. In Swift Calcs, engineers can work with variables, functions, vectors, arrays and matrices to perform virtually any calculation, and plot data easily on charts and graphs. Learn how to work with Swift Calcs worksheets, including adding mathematics, text, images and videos to a worksheet. Engineers can perform calculations in Swift Calcs, including solving equations, solving differential equations, plotting functions and data, importing data, calculating with units, accessing engineering databases, and more. They can also share and embed Swift Calcs projects and worksheets with other users.
