Extensible CAD Technologies has announced that SolidVision Inc. has joined the InspectionXpert and Office2PDM Reseller Program.

InspectionXpert is a tool that automates the process of ballooning, or bubbling, CAD drawings including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, CATIA, Pro/ENGINEER and PDF or TIFF files and creating excel-based inspection sheets for quality inspection purposes.  Industries such as aerospace, oil and gas, medical device, automotive and contract manufacturing are often tasked with creating first article inspection and in-process inspection packages that can take hours or even days to create.  InspectionXpert automates the creation of these inspection packages for time savings and greater accuracy.

The Office2PDM add-in for Microsoft Office brings the document management functions of SolidWorks Enterprise PDM directly into Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and provides an EPDM dashboard in Outlook to view the workflows, states and transition dates of documents in your EPDM vault.

“SolidVision’s commitment to a long-term partnership with their customers makes them an important partner in our efforts to reach more companies who will benefit from using InspectionXpert and Office2PDM,” says Jeff Cope, president of Extensible CAD Technologies.  “We are very excited to have them join our reseller program in the New England area.”
