Spicer Corporation (Kitchener, ONT) released ViewCafe 4.2, which provides enterprise-wide online review and real-time collaboration to support business applications, such as Engineering Change Order Management, Plant and Facility Management and Case Management, within manufacturing, government, financial, and utilities companies.

ViewCafe Release 4.2 simplifies multi-department and multi-site access, review, markup and sharing of engineering and enterprise content with new support for industry-leading file formats Microsoft Word 2007 and Solidworks 2008.

Spicer ViewCafe's advanced Java 2 and 3D technology deliver rapidly deployable thin-client viewing and easy integration. ViewCafe's easy-to-use client applet runs in a browser or as a JavaBean application. The ViewCafe Server is available for Windows. A flexible pricing model provides fixed, enterprise, and OEM licensing options.
