Stratasys Ltd. has launched iAM Marketplace, an independent new platform focused on additive manufacturing (AM). The hardware-agnostic marketplace offers polymer materials, engineering services and products for the polymer additive manufacturing industry to scale AM-enabled production across applications.
The platform will streamline purchasing and support more agile and supply chains for manufacturers globally.
With backing from Stratasys, iAM Marketplace unites expertise of iSQUARED, Forward AM, and assets from Nexa3D, with an open-access approach. Customers can access an array of certified materials and services, all within a single platform.
The marketplace complements Stratasys’ materials portfolio, which delivers polymers for applications on Stratasys systems. Together, the offerings provide manufacturers with flexibility: certified materials designed for Stratasys platforms, alongside an open, independent marketplace.
“The launch of iAM Marketplace is a bold step forward in our materials strategy, expanding our total addressable market and creating operational efficiencies by positioning us to serve the entire additive manufacturing industry,” says Yoav Zeif, CEO of Stratasys. “It provides all manufacturers with a broad portfolio of quality certified materials, machines and expertise which makes it easy to access to exactly what they need from a reliable partner, whether they’re focused on cost, performance, or use case-specific solutions.”
