Strategic Test Corp. (Woburn, MA) announced two new 250kHz 16-bit data acquisition cards for PCI Express. The UF2e-4721 has 16 analog inputs and the UF2e-4020 has 8 channels. Features include the options for dual-timebase sampling, synchronous digital inputs, asynchronous digital I/O, and the possibility to synchronize up to 4336 channels.

Drivers and programming examples for Microsoft Windows Vista, XP64, XP, and Linux (RedHat, Fedora, SuSe, Sarge) are supplied with the card, as well as the SBench 5.3 oscilloscope program. SDK's for MATLAB, LabVIEW, Agilent-VEE, DASYLab, and LabWindows/CVI are available as options.

Key specifications include 32MS memory (expandable to 2GS); continuous streaming to host PC is 120MSps; effective number of bits is 14.7bits; SNR is 90.6dB; total harmonic distortion is -105.0dB; and standard -3dB bandwidth is 125kHz.

Each channel has its own 250kHz ADC for true simultaneous sampling, together with eight voltage ranges from ±50mV to ±10V, a programmable offset of 100 percent and input impedances of 50Ohm or 1MOhm, allowing each channel to be individually configured for the signal source.

Prices start at $4190 with volume/OEM discounts available. For details, go to Strategic Test.
