Siemens PLM Software (Plano, TX) announced the next generation of its Teamcenter software-based Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solution. The MRO solution's Service Data Management module offers enhancements including a Services Dashboard feature to help original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and service providers manage the distributed service value chain, compliance, and successful execution of Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Service Level Agreement (SLA) contracts.

The Teamcenter for MRO solution's Service Data Management package is tailored to the needs of organizations that support and service complex products requiring a major capital investment, such as aircraft, weapon systems, ships and power plants.

In addition, other enhancements in asset management and service event management include easy to read executive summary and detailed reports; reduced service costs and cycle time through outsourcing; improved product and services quality through single integrated source of knowledge; reduction in touch labor to capture, manage, and use asset data; continuous product/process improvement; full asset history knowledge and performance tracking; and achievement of PBL and SLA objectives through capture, analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators related to assets and processes.
