By DE Editors

June 10, 2015

Tektronix Inc., a manufacturer of oscilloscopes, has expanded its portfolio of HDMI test solution by adding advanced analysis and characterization support for HDMI 2.0 receiver testing.

The HDMXpress, according to the company, provides complete support for test pattern generation, auto-calibration and margin testing, eliminating the need for manual pattern creation. The device interfaces with the TekExpress HDM application hosted on Tektronix' DPO70000 series oscilloscopes.

“With the addition of HDMXpress to our HDMI portfolio, Tektronix now offers customers developing HDMI-based products a comprehensive set of automated compliance and validation test solutions,” said Brian Reich, general manager, Performance Oscilloscopes, Tektronix. “Our comprehensive HDMI 2.0/1.4a/b solutions include test fixtures, high-performance oscilloscopes, probing solutions and high-performance AWGs along with automated transmitter and receiver compliance test software.”
