Theorem Solutions Releases Multi-CAD CADverter for PTC Creo Parametric

Theorem Solutions has launched its Multi-CAD program from CATIA V5/V6 and PTC Creo Parametric. The PLM (product lifecycle management) tool allows for direct collaboration between the programs, enabling the successful development of ideas, data validation and seamless two-way data exchange, the company states.

The application checks geometry for errors and validates data integrity as it comes into CATIA, then tracks changes and updates the master model as each sub-assembly is developed. CAD files are completely associative, which allows CATIA users to automatically update CATIA design with changes made in PTC Creo Parametric.

The Multi-CAD CADverter for PTC Creo Parametric process tessellated and precise data plus product management information. It can be run from within the V5/V6 interface, or be configured to batch process files.
