Theorem Solutions, a provider of data translation products and services, has released Publish 3D 18.0. This release, the company states has features and enhancements for CATIA V5 users and the introduction of a multi template PUBLISH mechanism.

Integrated with CATIA V5, version 18.0 supports CATIA V5 R18 to R24, enabling users to publish documentation containing interactive 3D representations of their data, the company states.

With the new multi template PUBLISH mechanism, 3D data can now be written into many output PDF files with additional meta data such as AVIs, hyperlinks and PowerPoint presentations.

Version 18.0, according to the company, also includes improved processing of data groups. The assembly tree is simplified and provides control over subordinate data processing through tessellation quality. Controls for lighting, render and active modes have also been added.

This version for CATIA V5 has support for annotations and dimensions FTA (PMI) and model-based definition processes for downstream activities.
