Origin International (Markham,Canada) released CheckMate CMM Language Translator for companies that need to move programs from one CMM (coordinate measuring machine) to another. The stand-alone Windows application reads native and DMIS CMM programming languages and converts them to one of many CMM native and DMIS flavored output programs.

“Due to the wide variety of dialects used in CMM programming languages such as DMIS, achieving 100% standardization is virtually impossible. There is some tuning required”, says Murray Desnoyer, CEO of Origin CEO. The CheckMate Translator automatically logs all translation issues for re-work.
