TransMagic, Inc.(Denver, CO), a supplier of 3D CAD translation software, released theTransMagic 2006 product line. The new line has direct support for SolidWorks(Concord, MA) part and assembly files. TransMagic 2006 also has updatedsupport for CATIA V5 R16 and a new option to write 3D models in theNGRAIN file format for use within NGRAIN software products.

The new features and enhancements for TransMagic 2006 include nativesupport for SolidWorks part (.sldprt) and assembly (.sldasm) files;updated support for the CATIA V5 R16 part and assembly files; the addedability to export files in the NGRAIN .3ko format; the choice for STEPoutput in either the AP203 or AP214 format; and a new Colorize functionthat facilitates repair operations.
