COMSOL, Inc.'s (Burlington, MA) new COMSOL Certified Consultant, TransTech Systems, Inc., focuses on sensor technology in critical measurement applications. As a COMSOL Certified Consultant, TransTech Systems will provide high-tech services for clients with applications within electromagnetics and multiphysics.

TransTech R&D includes specialists in NDE Sensor Development, Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Tomography (EIT), Analog and Digital Electronics, Electromagnetic Sensor Design, Signal Processing, Artificial Neural Networks, and Biomedical Engineering, among other applications.

The COMSOL Certified Consultant Group falls under the umbrella of the TransTech R&D division, which is made up of problem solvers, specifically in determining the physical characteristics of materials such as pavement, soil, food, and even human tissue. As authorities in measuring properties of dielectric materials plus the volumetric density and moisture content of substrates, the TransTech R&D division uses advanced impedance spectroscopy and tomography techniques, electromagnetic sensor design, finite element modeling, data acquisition, and signal processing.
