IMSI/Design has released TurboCAD LTE v5, its CAD software for the AutoCAD LT market. The solution allows users to access functionality using an AutoCAD LT-like interface.

The new 64-bit compatible version can load, process, and render much larger CAD files, while the GPU-accelerated drawing engine provides faster zoom, pan and design navigation. Users can save time with architectural designs using self-healing walls that are ACA/ADT compatible, and use self-trimming and self-aligning blocks as custom architectural elements.

The solution also features advanced, handle-based editing, smart dimensioning tools, an enhanced layer manager, customization features, and more. It also supports Xrefs, and reads/writes standard file formats including .DWG, .DXF, .DGN, .SKP, .TCW, .PLT, and more.
