The added containers are for ANSYS Mechanical, Fluent, CFX, Workbench, Icepak, EM, LS-DYNA, LS-PrePost, CD-adapco STAR-CCM+ and OpenFOAM.
“These packages are designed to deliver the tools that an engineer needs to complete his task in hand. The ISV (independent software vendors) or Open Source tools are pre-installed, configured, and tested, and can be run on bare metal, without loss of performance that hypervisors create,” said Wolfgang Gentzsch, president, UberCloud.
Case studies featuring ANSYS, CD-adapco and OpenFOAM can be downloaded here.
