Velodyne's LiDAR Division has revealed the LiDAR Puck, a new 16 channel real time sensor. It, according to the company, is part of a family of solutions built with Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) technology.

The unit has low power consumption (<10w), is light in weight (about 600 grams), a compact footprint (0100mm x 65mm) and a dual return option. It does support 16 channels
