ViewSonic Corp., a provider of visual solution products, has partnered with NaviSite to deliver Destkop-as-a-Service (DaaS) for cloud-based virtual desktop environments.

The two companies will deliver scalable, flexible off-site, cloud-hosted solutions. ViewSonic's line of VDI (virtual desktop interface) products will be compatible with NaviSite's DaaS for a flexible and manageable infrastructure, the company states. The NaviSite DaaS solution, according to the company, offers a secure and fully managed cloud-computing foundation. It offers usability, scalability and efficiency.

"Partnering with NaviSite is exciting for ViewSonic, as we will be working together to provide hosted solution options and hardware offerings for NaviSite’s DaaS-based virtual desktop environment,” said Michael Holstein, vice president of business development and emerging technologies at ViewSonic Americas. “Utilizing a cloud-based VDI solution, such as NaviSite, users can have more flexibility and scalability with deployment and implementing a solution with minimal delays, ensuring a solution that fits your business. As NaviSite is a leading DaaS provider, this collaboration will bring enterprise-class virtual desktop environments to the forefront of a business.”
