VRcontext (Brussels, Belgium) released Walkinside Version 5 virtual reality software. Redeveloped to deliver faster, more intuitive navigation of large complex production assets using .NET technology, VRcontext says V5 enables remote collaboration through the Internet with online virtualization tools that are accessible even from low-end workstations. Users can contextually link external applications and databases, while they employ human-like avatars to simulate real-world constraints, such as gravity, collision, and relative dimension. Go to VRcontext for further details.
