ZWCAD Design officially rolled out the release of ZWCAD+ 2012 SP1. This release comes with enhanced performance and new features, the company says, including more than 400 detailed improvements and 20 newly added features.

The new SmartPeek feature allows users to press the Control and Tab buttons to easily switch and preview drawings. Other new features include Multileader and Mleader style for annotation and dimension; MVSETUP for setting up one or more viewports in layout; OVERKILL to clean up overlapping geometry; DELDUPL to delete duplicate lines, Circles and Arcs; and LOCKUP and UNLOCK to lock and unlock a drawing with a password.

The system's APIs have also been enhanced. To make it convenient for users to search for the ported apps, a new APP+ tab was added to the ZWCAD+ interface panel. Users can click on the tab to find the most suitable and useful tools in order to facilitate their design.
