Formero Pty Ltd was acquired by the 3D Systems Corporation. Formero and its subsidiary, XYZ Innovation, will continue to operate as 3D Systems Asia-Pacific Pty Ltd, with an expanded range of products and services that include 3D printers, design productivity tools, prototyping and manufacturing services.

Commenting on the acquisition, Simon Marriott, Managing Director of Formero, said “Over the last decade, Formero and XYZ Innovation have been dedicated to providing its customers with innovative Rapid Manufacturing solutions to their product development challenges. We are excited to become part of 3D Systems Corporation. This change means we can now deliver even greater benefits to our customers with the entire range of 3D Systems rapid prototyping and 3D printing solutions.”

Formero brings nearly two decades of experience providing rapid prototyping and custom manufacturing services. Formero is also a provider of personal, professional and production 3D printers that include plastic and metal printing solutions through its wholly owned XYZ Innovation subsidiary. Additionally, Formero operates a facility in Shenzhen China in support of its on-demand custom parts services.
