Design Study in SolidWorks 2010

A Closer Look at SolidWorks 2010—3: In SolidWorks 2010 (Beta code), the Design Study function lets you automatically generate multiple versions of your part by incrementally changing certain parameters, such as bend radius or extrusion height. From the results, you can pick the optimal configuration, which may be drastically different from your initial concept but still meets the required factor of safety, load conditions, or stress tolerance. But the parameters you can experiment with may be limited by how you build your part.
