3D Engineering Solutions Receives Certification for Industrial CT Scanning Services

By Jess Lulka

October 3, 2014

3D Engineering Solutions has become ISO 17025 certified for industrial CT scanning services with its Nikon MCT225 scanning system.

The new Metrology-CT (MCT) system guarantees that all external and internal geometry is measured efficiently, the company states. A liquid cooled micro-focus reflection source and air-cooled cabinet provide long-term stability and enables the MCT225 to achieve an impressive accuracy specification. It can inspect precision plastic parts, small castings and complex parts and assemblies.

3D Engineering Solutions is a provider of third-party inspection and industrial CT scanning services. It is equipped with a metrology lab for OEM (original equipment manufacturer) needs, and provides services for 3D CAD modeling, reverse engineering and more.
