ALT Software and Channel One International have announced the availability of an industrial-rated version of the ATI Radeon E4690 embedded graphics processor from AMD. Manufacturers of military, aerospace, industrial and other systems can utilize this -40°C to +105°C operating temperature range screened GPU to add high performance graphics and video support to their embedded devices.

ALT Software provides OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenGL 1.3 and OpenGL SC DO-178B certifiable graphics drivers for the ATI Radeon E4690, with support for PowerPC and x86 processors and other real-time operating systems including Wind River VxWorks 653 and Green Hills INTEGRITY-178B as well as customer-proprietary RTOSes.

The ATI Radeon E4690 includes dual HD video streaming, a 128-bit memory interface and 512MB on-chip GDDR3 memory. Multiple GPUs can be combined.
