America Makes announcee the second Virtual Game Day Event in partnership with Wohlers Associates and sponsored by Link3D. The event will be held on Thursday, June 18 and focus on the role additive manufacturing (AM) plays in addressing supply chain gaps and distributed manufacturing.

“We’ve seen over the last several months the enormous impact AM can have on filling critical supply chain gaps,” says America Makes Executive Director John Wilczynski. “We’re excited about the future of AM and the role it will continue to play in this space. As companies begin to look at how to be prepared for the future, conversations like these are critical to have.”

Terry Wohlers, president of Wohlers Associates, will moderate a panel that will include representatives from a wide cross-section of the industry—HP, 3Diligent and Fast Radius—with each dealing with a different aspect of the supply chain.

Continuing with the intent of the series, this event will be fully interactive and allow participants to network directly with panelists, peers and industry leaders to create a “virtual conference” experience. America Makes members will also have an opportunity to sponsor a “virtual table” at no cost.

The agenda is as follows:

11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. EDT: Pre-Registration and Virtual Networking

12-1:30 p.m.: Virtual Panel + Q&A

1:30-2:30 p.m.:Virtual Networking Reception Hosted by Link3D
