America Makes has announced that its annual Technical Review & Exchange (TRX) event will be virtual this year. The event, hosted by Ohio State University, will be held August 4-5.
You can view the agenda and register here.
The event will include presentations on the technical aspects of 3D printing, as well as updates on the DED Project; a session on the Ohio Project by
Susan Foltz, Office of Small Business & Entrepreneurship; and the NCDMM Coldspray Project. Presenters will include representatives of America Makes, OSU, Booz Allen Hamilton, Penn State University, Xact Metal, Quintus Technologies, NIST, and other organizations.
According to the event website:
TRX is more a technically focused event with content being shared at an in-depth level. The TRX presentation format is intended to be flexible and conversational in its structure to permit more organic interaction throughout each presentation. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions during a presentation to gain a deeper understanding of the research underway rather than holding all questions until the conclusion of a presentation. All TRX presenters have prepared their presentations to allow for this increased level of engagement.
The event is targeted at engineers and executives. Registration is free.
