Aras Announces Presenters at ACE 2014 Europe

Aras, a provider of enterprise product lifecycle management (PLM) software, has added several new presenters to its 2014 European Aras Community Event (ACE) in Frankfurt, Germany. The conference will run from October 21-22. This year's theme is "Right Now."

Speakers are presenting a wide variety of industries, such as automotive, mechanical engineering, food, consumer goods and medical technology. These different organizations will share PLM strategies and demonstrate how they implement the Aras platform in their workflow.

The presentations include:

• Imperial Tobacco Group is sharing its PLM selection process and strategy for a successful product lifecycle introduction.
• Gearbox manufacturer GERTRAG International is showing how it is optimizing processes in product development across the company.
• Kinnerton Confectionery is presenting and illustrating how it accelerates new product development.
• Professor Martin Eigner from the University Kaiserslautern will be reporting on the the repercussions of Industry 4.0 and on the PLM strategy of manufacturing companies.
• Peter Schroer, Aras CEO and founder, is highlighting the importance of open technologies and resilient PLM.
