Atego has launched Atego Check, a product that automates project milestone deliverables and reviews against pre-defined checklists.

"The launch of Atego Check is a significant extension to our Atego Vantage solution, helping our customers achieve certification of their safety-critical systems and software," said Hedley Apperly, vice president of product and marketing at Atego. "Atego Check's contemporary, intuitive and fast Web browser interface takes the pain out of review and checklist management."

Atego Check initiates reviews automatically by live monitoring of computer disk folders, 15 different source code management systems, Web pages, e-mails, dates and times, and QR codes, and is integrated with Atego Process Director. Reviews are automatically initiated and allocated to pre-authorized Atego Check Reviewers along with the appropriate checklist from a database of pre-defined and managed checklists. Reviews are comprised of lists of questions to be answered, stored and recorded with an electronic signature and time-stamp. A management dashboard allows for monitoring across tasks, projects, teams or entire programs.

The solution works on PCs, tablets and smartphones, and its offline mode lets users review against checklists when there is no network availability. Companies can build their own auditable checklists or choose from Atego's list of predefined safety-critical checklists.

"We are extremely pleased to be launching Atego Check," said Richard Horsman, CEO of Atego. "This new product builds on Atego's substantial certification and safety-critical expertise by embedding the knowledge of our DO-178/254 DERs and consultants in a set of pre-defined checklists, which deliver real savings to our safety-critical certified customers."
