TopSolidMissler Software and AMD have announced that the ATI FirePro workstation graphics cards have been tested and certified to ensure optimized performance and compatibility with the TopSolid CAD/CAM software range.

The development teams from AMD and from Missler Software have worked closely together to ensure compatibility between TopSolid v6, TopSolid 7 and the ATI FirePro product family. The two teams have been able to thoroughly test and certify the ATI FirePro graphics cards with the TopSolid integrated CAD/CAM suite. The results confirm the recent certification of the ATI FirePro products; from the entry-level ATI FirePro V3800 to the high-end FirePro V8800 by the Missler Software development team in Toulouse, France.

“Many of our customers have been requesting that we certify their favoriteTopSolid solution to run smoothly with ATI FirePro graphics cards,” explains Dominique Laffret, vice president of Strategic Relationships at Missler Software. “Thanks to the recent certification, we offer increased choice and flexibility for our customers to work with the ATI FirePro product family, which is recognised as being a leading graphics solution on the market. Thanks to the excellent collaboration with AMD’s technical team we have been able to run a comprehensive certification process over the past few months and are happy to indicate that the ATI FirePro line of graphics cards delivers a stable and high performance graphics environment for TopSolid.”
