Boeing, Northrop Grumman Announce Product Data Summit Agenda

Registration deadline extended to August 31.

The list of speakers for the fifth annual Boeing/Northrop Grumman/Elysium Global Product Data Interoperability Summit (GPDIS) has been released. Leading aerospace, automotive, software and IT experts will address the data and communications challenges and opportunities of the multi-CAD, multi-supplier environment, according to the companies.

The theme of this year's conference, held at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler, Ariz., Sept. 9-12, is "Enabling Productivity with Common Data Streams." Registration has been extended until Aug. 31.

In addition to co-hosts Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Elysium, presenters and sponsors include Airbus, Dassault Systems, Honeywell, Microsoft, HP, and Brigham Young University. Topics will include engineering collaboration, product data interoperability, quality and manufacturing, supplier transactions and product lifecycle management (PLM) from a data-centric point of view.

Boeing and Northrop will conduct closed sessions for the first day and a half; sessions open to registered attendees begin at 1 p.m. Sept. 10 and run through noon Sept. 12.

Keynote speakers will include Boeing's Pragati Mathur and Mike Stothers; Tony Acosta of Northrop Grumman; Jack Harris of PDES; and Chris Fowler of Airbus Operations.
