Camber Corporation announced that it has reached a conclusive agreement to acquire the IT consulting services business of Avaya Government Solutions.

This new Camber/Avaya team will offer consulting related to government enterprise architecture, IT and software engineering. It will also help expand Camber's reach and capabilities in the industry.

"The acquisition expands the opportunities to support and grow the information technology and consulting services within Camber's organization, while allowing Avaya to streamline its focus on providing the Federal, State and local governments with a complete, open stack of products and solutions," said Brett Shockley, senior vice president and chief technology officer at Avaya.
