CANLab Network Analysis Software Updated

Streamlined software now compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Accurate Technologies announced the release of CANLab version 3.1.1.

The number of clicks required to configure new workspaces was reduced to three. Unnecessary pop-ups were removed or renamed for speedier configuration. Standard macros enhance the organization and naming of project files. Other additions include enabling Backward and Forward buttons for efficient step-through when replaying logged files, and adding menu options to clear statistics quickly.

According to the company, data integrity was improved by increasing the timestamp precision when replaying messages. CANLab is more robust when adding or removing hardware during online/offline cycles.  Additionally, to avoid loss of information CANLab now generates workspace backup files (.BAK) when changes are saved.

To extend usability, the solution is now compatible with Microsoft Window Vista and Windows 7 (32- and 64-bit) operating systems. Hardware support has been added for Kvaser's Eagle hardware and Vector Informatik's VN1610, VN1611, VN1630 and VN1640 hardware.
