CD-adapco will assume all development responsibility for Battery Design Studio from Battery Design LLC, building on the existing collaboration between the companies.

"I am delighted that CD-adapco will now develop the product," said Robert Spotnitz, creater of Battery Design Studio. "As the user base has grown so has the need to increase development resources. Long standing customers will only see a great deal of benefit from this expanded relationship."

Battery Design Studio will continue to be retailed through CD-adapco's worldwide operation, and the collaboration with Spotnitz and Battery Design LLC will continue to provide leading edge battery simulation methods to clients.
