CFD Simulation Tool Provides Abstract Modeling to the Altair Partner Alliance

The Altair Partner Alliance announced the availability of AcuNexus through the program. AcuNexus, developed by NovusNexus, is computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software designed to support simulation-based design (SBD) and is based on the company's abstract modeling technology.

The solution uses geometry-independent abstract models, which are reusable because they are unconstrained by a CFD models actual geometry. Engineers utilize AcuNexus for CFD analysis in a number of industries, from automotive, aerospace and defense to consumer goods, energy and biomedical, the company says.

"Since existing integration with AcuSolve has already been created, joining the Altair Partner Alliance is a natural evolution in our partnership. AcuNexus supports CAD geometry models from Pro/E, Creo, SolidWorks and Discrete for CFD analysis, with AcuSolve as its CFD solver.
