Cideas, a provider of 3D prototypes and additive manufactured parts, announced the addition of 3D Systems' iPro8000 and ProJet 7000 devices, as well as two high-definition sPro60 SLS machines. "The resolution and small feature detail available from the HD/HS sPro 60 enable us to capture features and nominal wall thicknesses that were traditionally unavailable using the SLS process," said Cideas president Mike Littrell.

With the addition of four large-frame 3D Systems machines within the last 11 months, Cideas says it is the first Service Bureau to offer Accura Xtreme White-200 in the large frame iPro 8000 SLA. Accura Xtreme White-200 has the Durability of ABS while maintaining a surface finish similar to an injection molded part, the company says.
