Cinterion Concept Board Designed for 'Internet of Things'

Gemalto has launched its Cinterion Concept Board for developers. The new board is designed for 'Internet of Things' applications that allow objects to transfer information over a network. The board leverages the Oracle Java ME Embedded platform.

According to the company, the new development kit simplifies solution design by allowing M2M developers to transform ideas into prototypes quickly. The board is also cloud-ready through Gemalto's SensorLogic application enablement platform with secure wireless connectivity enabled by a Cinterion M2M module. It also features an open source interface for Arduino extension boards.
