Selected for its functionality and ease of configurability, the application has enabled Dedicated Computing to centralize product information, improve insight and visibility into projects as well as standardize and automate business processes, a company press release states.
The use of Aras PLM has allowed the company to also streamline operations, eliminate ad-hoc tools, forms and checklists and automate numerous processes throughout Dedicated Computing's departments.
"Prior to implementing Aras, project management was a decentralized process that relied on many different tools and assorted checklists. We had limited visibility into status or ownership," said Greg Tushaus, chief information officer at Dedicated Computing. "With Aras, we have a standard view of project activities and deliverables, as well as improved notification and accountability throughout the process. What's more, Aras is easy to use and easy to customize, and security is guaranteed."
