Dell has equipped its new Precision 3510, 7510 and 7710 workstation with AMD FirePro mobile GPUs (graphics processing units) for optimal application performance. These GPUs are optimized and certified for leading workstation applications, such as ultra-high geometry performance and handling complex data sets.

The GPUs being offered with the Dell Precision workstations are the FirePro W5130M, W5170M and W7170M. The W7170M offers up to almost 3TFLOPS of single-precision GPU compute power for CAD/CAE workflows. All graphics cards are independent software vendor (ISV) certified.

“We’re proud to empower Dell Precision mobile workstation users with the new generation of AMD FirePro mobile graphics,” said Sean Burke, corporate vice president and general manager, AMD Professional Graphics group. “For example, the AMD FirePro W7170M is our top of the line AMD mobile GPU for professional workloads, and now it’s available exclusively with the Dell Precision 7710, making it one of the most powerful workstation notebooks you can get today. AMD delivers exceptional professional graphics power that customers can rely on, backed by rock-solid drivers and certified application performance.”
